Graescence follows several protagonists as they navigate an ancient Empire spanning two worlds where technology is powered by magic, and magic is fueled by the living.

• Multiple but limited protagonist POVs, each with their own story. I do occasionally jump into non-protagonist POVs to move the story forward on occasion (especially after big events), but the majority of the story telling sticks to the protagonist view points.
• Distinct worlds with a unique magic system based on first principles and integrated deep into society and culture.
• Character studies, cultural studies, societal studies, power studies, a lot of…studies— okay, listen, writing is a discovery process for me.
• Some slice of life writing.
• Depiction of trauma and its aftermath. I do not like or enjoy gratuitous violence or sex. However, there will be violence and quite possibly sex because that's what people do.
