The birthplace of both Roland Anselm and Sal, Larstead is an isolated logging town located in the remote part of the north-eastern Santonian mountains, close to the border of the Alderin Preserve.

To the rest of the world, Larstead is barely a footnote. Most maps wouldn't list it. It exports its wood to the closest town, Edensville, which is still almost thirty leagues away. Even most in Edensville don't know about Larstead, and those who do only know it for it's periodic shipment of lumber.

Given its remoteness, Larstead has virtually no visitors except for a drajin sled train exporting the lumber and importing supplies. Every few years, a local Royal comes by to check in with them, but that's about it.

Why a local Royal would care about a remote logging town is unknown. There are more curiosities, like why there's a town where most would expect a village. Or just how abnormally well built the town is, equipped with far more graetech than a place many times its size. Or that a large portion of their population is retired military.

But to Roland Anselm and Sal, it's just home.
